Qayyad was very careful about the expenditure of Governor General. They used to pay for at least. They had a look at personal expenses. They had ordered that guests come to the meal, fruits should be presented in this number. If there are three guests, just three pots.

In the Kashmiri leaders, Ghulam Abbas was very close to Qayyazim. One day he came to meet Qayyazim. There were three people, Qaida leader, Ms. Fakhmah Jinnah and Ghulam Abbas on lunch. When the fruits were brought after eating, they were four apples.

When Ghulam Abbas went away, Qayyazim called his ADC (subordinate officer) and asked if there were only three people on food, who was for the fourth apple?
The young officer did not have any answer because Qayyazim's order was that the number of people on the food should be equal to the fruits.

The fourth apple was against Qayyazim's order. The officer just said: "Sir! It will be a mistake. "
Qayyazim said very softly: "Such mistakes should not be coming forward, because non-governmental government like Pakistan can not stand wastefully.
"
Qaida leader forgot the officer. The order was to keep the minimum amount of government expenditure. No one made such mistake again in the life of Qayyazim. People like Qayyazim can make a country like Pakistan.
